New Product Sicrys I50TM-119
We are pleased to release our newest product, Sicrys I50TM-119, the latest in our portfolio of high-quality conductive digital inks that enable the mass production of fast, inexpensive digital printing technologies, including 3D printed electronics. Sicrys™ I50TM-119, a conductive ink based on single-crystal silver nanoparticles, has been designed for digital printing and low temperature sintering applications, which allows for printing on flexible substrates, such as plastic, fabric or even paper.  The ink, conveniently stored at room temperature, provides high silver loading, low viscosity, long shelf life, reliable jetting and good printability. Printed patterns offer a unique combination of properties, including low electrical resistivity, good adhesion to a wide range of substrates and durability in humid and aqueous environments.
With Sicrys™ inks, these technologies can be made with less material and increased efficiency, reducing costs and size and increasing design flexibility. For example, the multiple antennas found in cellphones today can be printed directly onto the phone case using Sicrys™ conductive inks, reducing the size, parts and costs necessary to produce cellphones. PV Nano Cell in the News!
PV Nano Cell made headlines in the printed electronics industry recently after we announced our singing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with a leading manufacturer of printed circuit boards (PCBs).  AZO Nano reported that the PCB “manufacturer will exclusively use PV Nano Cell's Sicrys™ portfolio of conductive inks for the mass production of PCBs.”  Additionally, Virtual Strategy Magazine wrote of the same deal that “this arrangement will constitute the first commercial mass production of PCBs using a digital conductive inkjet printing process.”  Our partnership with a leader in the PCB manufacturing space provides us with the foundation we need to continue to expand into this market.
Industry News
The 3D printing space continues to grow at an explosive rate.  Transparency Market Research recently released a report stating that the global market for 3D printing was valued at US$2.2 billion in 2012 – it is expected to expand at a whopping compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 16.80% over the next few years.  The report attributes this healthy growth to “the ease of use of this technology in comparison to conventional printing methods.”  The widespread demand for 3D printing technologies is demonstrated by The Maker Lab at San Diego Central Library, filled with 3D printers for public use and set to expand due to overwhelming popularity in the community.
